This class was honestly very interesting. The topics studied really felt relevant to today's constantly changing world and I enjoyed being able to look closer into them. It was a nice break from learning about theories, laws, and math principles that were created hundreds of years ago.
In contrast, my essay is about a law that became widely recognized 100 years ago, lol. Zipf's Law is a pattern popularized by a linguist named George Zipf. My essay dives into to a few explanations for why all languages follow this law. But unfortunately it only contains my viewpoints on why the law exists, because no one really agrees on the exact reason languages follows Zipf's Law.
